Behind your Basket

For many generations, weaving has been a traditional skill of the people in both Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana, and Bangladesh. These unique styles and skills have been passed down from generation to generation. When you bring their craft into your home, you will also get to experience a timeless masterpiece that can be passed down to your loved ones.

We work directly with the artisans that make our products and are committed to fair trade practices and ensuring that our weavers and artisans are well compensated.

Behind your Buffalo Horn Jewelry

This exquisite collection of buffalo horn jewelry from Hathorway is individually hand crafted in Northern Vietnam. They are a sustainable
fashion accessories brand focused on quality, sustainability, and
women’s empowerment.

West Coast designs steeped with Asian traditions, brings forth preserving a 400-year-old craftsmanship which uses ethically-sourced buffalo horns, a material—like leather—that has been discarded from deadstock and the food industry in Vietnam.

As an organic material, every piece will be completely one of a kind, each possessing its own exquisite colors and patterns.

Rattan is a climbing palm found in Southeast Asia; and similar to the strength and durability of bamboo, rattan has been used for many years to make baskets and trays and now jewelry. Rattan's natural essences and textures creates a bohemian and earthy-chic look and feel.
